I have a W208 CLK MY2000. It is the avant guard spec. Can I assume this to be a facelift as when this model was released it came as an elegance or sport.

I think yours is a facelift as i don't think the pre facelift w208's were available in avantgarde,if yours has integral indicators in the wing mirrors then it's a facelift model

Yes Steve it does have the indicators in the mirrors so I guess it is the facelift.

also all facelifts rockers have side skirts and a full colour matched body kit all round.. i have the same car as you
