Oil Hi means they have overfilled it. Return to garage and get them to rectify asap.

The short answer to your question on the ML is over filled (Yes).

HTH

The error code does indicate (as others ahve already susuggedted) that the oil level is too much and has been over fileld BUT sometimes if a car has been driven hard/thrashed around and taken around bends/corners at speed the sensor (s) can play up. I had that happen on one of my cars and a similar error came up (car had service 6months prior to the error) but coupel fo hpuirs later after engien was shut down and left parked for 1hrs all was fien an no error message...

I'm sure that the oil level has been overfilled as this error has come up immediately afterwards and as Brian has said get the garage to rectify this ASAP...
