Finally the day has come... I'm off

Well after three months the day has finally come. I am about to leave for T5 and being my journey to Bremen to collect my E350 Coupe sport.

I hope the trip lives up to the hype as I now have high hopes... lol. I will post my story upon my return with some pics etc. Should be fun apart from the rain that is forecast.

It will be great to drive in something nice again as my wives C-max was getting on my wick a little. After having been to the dealer on Friday to sign all the paperwork etc there have been some nice little changes to the command system. It now supports bluetooth audio streaming as well as fully rendered 3D buildings in major built uip areas and supports video playback from ipod with an optional cable..... nice.

We took three days from Stuttgart, my plates are in the boot, under the cover.

Don't forget you are "Running it in", no more than 3000 rpm, which is 100 mph.

Seriously don't overwork the engine, or use kickdown etc.

Audio streaming over Bluetooth on COMAND?

Is this something I should have following the latest update to my COMAND a couple of months ago? And how would I make it work?

Called Media Interface Plus and available now-ish (in the US at least). Appears to be a free upgrade although you might require a different cable or a box which won't be. I await news with interest.
