I have the fine mesh cover on the centre speaker and after reading many ways to remove it I cannot get anything in the small holes to remove. Cannot see any way to get anything under it to get to tabs if it has any.
Car is E280 W211 2008.
Any ideas as I hve slightly damaged it already!!

Sorted, got it off with plastic wedge at the front of cover. Front being nearest windscreen.

Is your speaker duff or are you upgrading it - or another reason?

Just curious...

Ocassionally get a whiff of musty smell from the centre vents only. Especially when starting journey and turning right.
Always clears in a mile or so but just wanted a look into the vent area.
Found nothing interesting.

Get the air con serviced. Musty smells lurk in the system when it needs refreshed. Just like whats probably in JohnEBoys pants.

LOL!

Have you been speaking to the Mrs?

I would buy an 'air con bomb'. My inde shoved one in my system a year or so ago and I've smelt of roses ever since.

He also dropped one in the car AC system and worked wonders there too...

£20 I think but money well spent - cheaper than an enema.

Lol.
Thought I'd get reported for that comment. Thank god a sense of humour can exist here. Yes I was talking to your wife, she has a few more complaints too. Your girlfriend doesn't mind though.
