Just found this useful forum. I'm picking up an '84 230 CE at the weekend, and was wondering how easy and/or possible it is to fit cruise control to it. It's a manual, and I'm not sure I've seen any W123 manuals advertised with cruise.
Can anyone let me know if it's possible to fit it to a manual, how tricky it is, where I might be able to find the parts (and for what kind of price)?
I had a saloon about a year ago and did a few things on that (a lot more fun to work on than the stupid polo I rashly bought to replace it and will now be binning). I'm not the world's greatest mechanic, but don't mind spending some time trying to fit or fix something.
Any help greatly appreciated. Hope I've put this in the right category- not sure if it's engine or electronics.
