Hi

I have recently purchased some parking sensors and was wondering what the likely cost of fitting these will be??

The electrical side doesn't appear to be that difficult... but I am not brave enough to start cutting holes in the bumper. Two major reasons being 1) Its my Dad's car and 2) it reminds me of fitting spot lights in the ceiling at my Dad's work...and that went very wrong... the original spot lights kept blowing as they were 12 Volt type so had to change them for 240 Volt ones..and these were smaller, so had to make new holes.

Ok, back to the point at hand... Does anyone know anywhere in London or Kent areas that can fit these for me at a reasonable price?

I think you have it all backwards. You pay for the fitting when you buy the sensors. Why would someone take responsibility for a job if you already took out half the profit.

In my experience its all or nothing with motor mechanics and so on. Its very uncommon to see someone do half a job.

Well I expect that depends very much on where the sensors were sourced !!

Tan - what sort of sensors did you buy ?

Parking Sensors

Tan -hello
When you remove the bumper, on the inside of it, you should find outline marks where factory fitted sensors go.
ps were you going to send me a cheque for £2.30?

I tend to only source components that I want to install myself. Otherwise it's someone elses job.
