Hi. I've these 2 codes come up on Torque pro with Elm 327. W212 220d Bluetec
I believe it points to a NOx sensor issue.

So I'll have a look at any obvious issues with the sensor, broken wiring etc. If it appears OK I'll need to remove it from the exhaust.
Firstly, can anyone tell me which sensor it is and roughly where it can be found? I'm expecting it to be the rearmost sensor. I'm also expecting the car to have 2 sensors in total, one upstream and one downstream. However, a mech said there were 4 oxygen sensors in total. Am I correct in thinking this is a 4 cylinder engine?
Secondly, I'm expecting the sensor to be pretty grimey. Is it possible to clean it and if yes, what would clean it?
Ultimately, I accept I might have to buy the £350-ish sensor, of which there is a 3 month(?) waiting list from Mercedes. But I'd like to do as much as I can in the meantime. So any help would be appreciated.
Car is fully updated with recalls and fitted with NOx sensor/s not covered by recall.
Thanks in advance.
