Flat badge on W203 - Have I got the right one?

Hi Guys,

I have bought a flat badge from my merc dealer to replace the star as prefer the smoother look.

I went to fit it today and the one I have will sit ontop of the recess for the star base as a little bigger not in the recess like the base of the OEM star. It is off the newer sport c class I was told but wanted to check if anyone on here is running one and are using the same badge and does yours sit like this?

Get the one from the same year coupe they are flat as standard.

Can't please em all i much perfer the sticky up badge. Something to glance at when youre driving allong

Thanks guys, flat badge is on, what a easy install.

I must admit i did feel a bit odd a first when I could not see it pointing up from the front of the bonnet.
