Folding mirror mod for a 1996 SL

I've searched the forum for some info on this but found nothing relating to the SL.
Can anyone provide some details as to how possible this is (i.e. cost, availability of parts etc).
I'm replacing my centre console soon and will have a spare switch to use - hence the reason for wanting to add the folding mirrors.

Car is an SL60 AMG registered 09/96.

Can anyone provide some details as to how possible this is (i.e. cost, availability of parts etc).

Try to locate a wrecked W140 and remove the motorized folding mirrors and switch. A little wiring and assembling and you are done.

New ones cost ~£ 800 each.
