About 4 weeks ago I took my K8 gixxer for MOT.
The dealership had a nice and shiny, limited GSX-R1000Z, limited edition on display.

Cut a long story short, it is no longer in the dealership, it is now in my garage

Very nice. Really tempted myself. The scary thing is I have a full motorcycle licence but have not ridden one for over 30 years. I could just go out and ride one of these without any extra training. A fatality waiting to happen.

My thoughts entirely. The last real bike I had was a Bonneville. I was more than happy to race it round Brands Hatch, but I doubt I could cope with a beauty like that now.
