You should try a bit harder at it Dave, the free drugs and alcohol are well worth it.Looking at my current post rate it could take some time to get to the heady ranks of "Veteran"
Ah well, I still shan't be posting for the sake of it, not enough time in my day for that unfortunately.

Brewery share prices have just plummeted..Can't drink at the moment because of them though.
I have been a member since 2011 but not a busy poster, but this seems a bit elitist to me, a way for the more prolific posters to appear more important maybe, or superior to the casual poster. We should all be seen to be equal irrespective of how many posts we make, this will just enforce the "clique" culture that was rife on PH a couple of years ago, thankfully less so now, a them and us type attitude which makes newbies feel unwelcome.
I think it will drive away the irregular posters leaving all you "hardcore" members to revel in you "clubiness"
and feeling smugly superior. Maybe it's intended as a bit of fun but do we really want to create layers of membership where many will see themselves as being more senior and thus more important, because that's what will happen. Is this what forums like this should be about, and is this the direction you want to drive it in?
Just my 2p worth which I know doesn't amount to much
I await my flaming
PS, I know I am an old fart but with age comes wisdom

I agree with your sentiments, but I've never noticed the oneupmanship you mention which must mean that I've not read the posts in question, or I'm part of the problemI agree totally with monkey legend. Far too much elitism on the site. Just leave things as they are, if it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it.
It’s the same with some of our members being derogatory to other members whom they see as having a ‘lesser’ model of Mercedes. They should try & understand that everyone has probably worked very hard to get the ‘dream car’ they’ve waited a long time to own/afford. Personally,I am pleased that some of our members have the means to afford one of the high spec models & good luck to them, but everyone loves there cars whatever the model they have the undoubted pleasure to drive, especially if it’s got that 3 pointed star on the bonnet. Let’s be more nice to each other. Cheers & I hope everyone has a great weekend.
