Hi all

As part of our extension project (which I have taken over the management of after moving away from a main contractor) I need to do some feasibility drawings for some alternative room layouts+furniture placement, kitchen remodelling etc.
Anyone got any links or recommendations for some free or cheap software to do some nice electronic drawings on? Nothing too fancy as I am a technophobe as it is?

Cheers

Home Plan Pro is good give it a google. You get a xx day free trial. You can print out from it. Once you get used to it it is a doddle to use.

Another vote for Sketchup - free.

I'm not sure I would agree that it was that easy - a certain amount of dexterity is required, then you get carried away trying to make it ever more realistic.

The ability to "walk through", move furniture and change lighting and shadows is very effective. At the end of the day a pencil and graph paper might have sufficed!
