Front brake disc diameter

I , on the other hand have obviously been far luckier , especially with Autodoc and FCP Euro, admittedly ECP can be a bit more problematic (never use reg number with them if possible) ECP not too much of a problem for me as I have one practically on my doorstep and another 5 miles away , for when they get it wrong.

But sometimes they get it wrong.

Far better to use an EPC and your VIN number to get the original MB part number. Then go to MB to buy them.

Or, if you wish to buy elsewhere, search for the MB part number at, for example, AutoDoc, and they will come up with various aftermarket alternatives. Then look for known good makes such as ATE, Brembo, Zimmermann, etc.

Here's an EPC:

Good hunting.

Thanks for the help, are Ridex discs OK?

Are Ridex discs ok? AUTODOC seems to have a range of them at reasonable prices.

Bosch, Eicher, Pagid, Brembo are all decent makes but have you asked MB Newcastle via their eBay page for a quote?
No, I honestly hadn't thought of asking a main dealer, judging by the prices of the Darlington indie. I will, and I will let you know how their price compares to Brembo on AUTODOC

Cheapest place for brembo at the min is euro car parts ,with the code. Their eicher discs are cheap but decent , cheap discs rust and deform. Don't skimp on something that one day you rely on to save your life. Greedy Clem's 🤣🤣

If the current parts are MB how long have they lasted? Plus, MB parts will be an exact fit 👍

Find their Ebay shop , send them a message with your VIN and what bit's you want , they will then list them on their Ebay site for a short while . It will then be up to you to click 'buy' or not.

Try it , you might be pleasantly surprised at the price , it has worked for me on numerous occasions.

Thank you all for your advice re MB Newcastle, even if they have nothing for my cl200, it’s very useful to know where to go in future.

My experiences of Ridex (from Autodoc) have not been good.
Cheap .... and Doesn't it show !
My experience of buying from MB of Newcastle has always been good.

My experiences buying MB oem parts from Autodoc has usually been good and has saved me quite a lot of money.

For example I bought a Ridex O2 sensor from Autodoc.
It failed within 12 months
I replaced it with a Bosch sensor (also from Autodoc and very much cheaper than MB) and it's still going strong.

I see Ridex and other very cheap offers at AutoDoc. I avoid them. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Only time I would is if the cars an old knacker and worth £500 .

Ah, so you’ve seen my car then!
I haven't no , are you saying it's a £500 knacker?? 😂
