Hi there. I need some one to give me guidance in how to remove the front bumper on my S Class 320 Cdi 2007. I have purchased a much brighter bulb set for the dipped, main beam and side lights and although I have managed to change the spot lights with the removal of the 2 plastic covers under the car I have failed to see how the front bumper is removed. Access to the side and main light bulbs seem impossible from the top without releasing the light units so I need an experienced instruction if some one could take the time please. As you get older night driving becomes a strain on the eyes so brighter lights go a long way to helping. This is the second time of asking and I am hoping some one will respond.:D Thank you

If I correctly recall, it goes as follows-
Open bonnet , remove the 2 bolts holding top edge of bumper.
Remove middle air intake grill on lower half of bumper, remove 2 bolts.
Inside each front wheel arch, remove screws/bolts holding the wheel arch
liner.
Where bumper cover meets metal plate, remove bolts on both sides.
This will allow you to pull bumper forward enough to undo headlights.
I hope this helps.

Hi there. I have a problem finding the (Where bumper cover meets metal plate, remove bolts on both sides). Could you possibly give me more information on the actual position of these little blighters because I have looked from under the cars wheel arch and just can not see them. Much thanks.

I have completed the task and you only have to remove the front inner plastic wheel aches to gain access to the side lights and indicators. Its a snug fit with 3 bolts and 3 plastic push in plugs per side but it is possible.:thumb: Just look out for the extra cables you have to detach from the right hand side front inner plastic wheel arch (running down the center edge by the engine). The bulb units are tucked up in front of a steel support member.

OK, I noticed I had included listing the indicator bulbs. This is not true as I had to remove the headlight units to gain access to the 2 torque screws which retain the indicator bulb units. I must admit this is not the best bulb replacement system I have seen, may-be they had the junior working on this design.
