Hi All,
Need to change front tyres due to worn on edges both sides, MOT coming soon,

Currently have pirelli p zero,
Any w211 owners had any michelin PS5 or goodyear f1 AS6?
Any advice would be much appreciated,
(Rear tyres can still use for another 10 months still have 4.1mm left)

Thanks.

The Goodyears Ass5 are on my W211 , good grip and comfortable ride on 17’s in the summer , I’ve got winters on at the moment .

I honestly think PS5 have gone a step backwards from PS4.
OK I know you'll get more milage with 5s, and they look lovely with the checkered flags, but a massive loss in wet grip.
I've got Goodyears on my SLK at the moment and it's very easy to slide the rear around in the damp!
I'll be replacing with standard PS4 when winter is over, if I can get them!

Another vote for Goodyear.

Very good grip wet or dry, low noise, comfortable and good wear 👍

That's not what many others are saying , rarely would any at the top take a significant backwards step in any area .

You can't get high milage, without losing grip.
They are soft, or hard. 5s are harder.
I had Pirellis on my A7. Super grippy,
6000 miles they were finished.
Race cars, hard, medium or soft.
It's not rocket science.
You can't just put some silica into hard rubber and find grip!

P Zero's if your happy with them.

Goodyears will have similar sidewall strength to the P Zero with the Michelin having the softest wall providing more comfort, less feel and lower dBA..

In my experience the Goodyears appear to mostly have the quietest dBA reading out of them all, usually around 69dBA.
