Got some new wings for my S203. how hard is it to fit myself? Could potentially save myself a good few hundred as bodyshop want 4hrs.

I've read that its side skirt removal and front bumper removal. both of those dont seem that hard?

I haven't done it on a 203 , but have done 201 , 123 and 124 front wings , all of which are straightforward .

If they are OEM it's an easy job.
Patterns often need skilled fettling to fit, so if using a body shop it can work out less cheap!

They are OEM parts. Just picked up a load of new clips etc from Mercedes so hopefully it'll go relatively smoothly!

Haven't done a 203 but the first 201 front wing I did had recently been fitted by a body shop at the cost of £1000. I took it off and refitted it properly with even panel gaps. It was very straightforward and I easily improved on the body shop's effort.

great news. I've WD40'd all the bolts to aid me. Saturday is D day. I'll post up some pictures of it undressed!
