Hi everyone,
I have noticed that whenever I unlock my 2009 Mercedes A Class W169, the fuel filler flap pops open and the only way to make it lock is to push it in, hold it in place and then lock the car. Then, on unlocking the car again, the fuel filler flap pops open once again. It will not lock by itself.
Previously, the flap would only open if the car was unlocked and you pushed the fuel filler flap.
I have checked the locking mechanism and the pin that is supposed to hold the flap in place moves when locking/unlocking the car but does not seem to latch onto the hole in inside of the flap.
I would most appreciate any help with this matter. Many thanks in advance.
