Hi does anyone know where the fuel filter is located on my 2013 SL350 petrol.

Hi does anyone know where the fuel filter is located on my 2013 SL350 petrol.

In the fuel tank! Quite a job to get to it too, lots of panels to be removed ie the panel that houses the wind deflector, the rear panel, the panels inside the boot.

Mine was accessible from under the rear prop shaft, still a right pain as the prop needed to be dropped ..... mine is an older model though ( 2003 SL 500 )

One of the many differences between the 230 and the 231, unfortunately.

Had mine done last year, so I think it's 10 yearly but I'll check on my spreadsheet later. If you want a copy of my SL maintenance spreadsheet then pm me your e mail address and I'll ping you a copy over.

I wonder if the 5 years/10 years is down to external against internal filters?
