Garage with Autologic rather than STAR

Is the autologic diagnostic system as good as STAR?

I am having suspension issues with my W221. I am getting an error on the dash for the airmatic and the ride stiffens and goes really bumpy.

I can raise and lower the car fine and when I switch the engine off the error disappears but re-appears while driving. Only happens randomly though.

I've read that the STAR diagnostic can pinpoint what the exact issue is rather than a mechanic changing various parts. I was wondering if the autologic system can do the same and test the compressor?

STAR is by far the better diagnostic tool. It can interrogate every module on the car, far more than 3rd party tools, especially chassis related systems.

Find yourself an indie with STAR, it wont be that expensive

That's the issue, no one with STAR around my area, everyone uses autologic

A diagnostic tool is only as good as the person using it

Autologic assist plus in the right hands has no problems with MB cars after 1995 to present day.

Its faster and easier to use with video support for repair work.
