With the level of input that you are bringing to this thread possibly you should keep out of the conversation.

Come to Benzworld and MBworld, I'll introduce you to actual service technicians from Mercedes-Benz, and even a handful real retired engineers from Mercedes-Benz. Here there are enthusiasts, just that. They drive with 4 different tires on each wheel at highway speeds for years.
Some are really good peole here others I've encountered are plain and simple retired max 10 million networth people trying to showoff what they learnt from others and they continually argue on 1 or 2 points of an argument with 8 points. It's a wate of time to argue with people of low intellectual capability and hence they will bring us down to their level. You'll never see them doing this in the real world with us, they lack the resources and connections to win outside of thier virtual world at which they use red herring arguments.
*The owner and founders of the forum are excellent people they even have youtube videos of some mods and tweaks, rest are retired grumpy angry sadists who want to fight hiding behind an electronic screen.

A small percentage of members, one with 22k+ post is not a Daimler certified designed nor a barrister. You and them are picking a fight out of nothing and wanting to shine in the internet spot light. So do it. I'm not stopping you, I'm blocking useless members from my perspective and moving forward to assist other new members. More posts does not equate to fixes or accepted answers for OP. But then again, who is judging your pack is adamant to boycott every new member and enforce your opinions as the way of life. Top tip for grumpy angry people - don't reply to them

I just had my CLS 250 software updated, by the way, drove it about a bit and my goodness it's much smoother than it was before, both engine and transmission. I might've had some kind of adaptation reset or something, but it was much nicer. MPG seemed comparable to normal but it was a pretty short run. I didn't hold 60mph at any point though, I only had 30/40 and 70 roads.
