Hiya,

I have the following vehicle:

Gla220 Amgline Prem+Cdi 4Mat A
Year 2014

I have the attached version of software / sat nav, does anyone know if I can upgrade the software and sat nav?

Your infotainment system is COMAND Online NTG4.5 Gen3 (aka NTG4.7).

Your current maps version is 2013, so probably it has never been updated.

The latest maps version is 2019/2020 v19.0.

You can buy it from any dealer or from forum sponsors www.comandonline.co.uk.

Ideally, you should also update the firmware on the unit, again this can be done by a dealer or by www.comandonline.co.uk.

And, your car should have the KOM Module with the built-in Vodafone 3g simcard - check the VIN on a VIN decoder and look for option B54 MBCONNECT - REAL-TIME TRAFFIC DATA. If you have this option, then you can purchase the TomTom Live Traffic subscription, which is very useful if you intend to use the satnav in the car. You will need to create a Mercedes me account online and register the car's VIN to your profile (if not done so already), the TomTom Live Traffic subscription will show as a service available for purchase.
