Good ole Toyota

Would certainly come in handy on the school run against the "I'm considerably richer and important than you" mums in their dump them anywhere causing chaos Range Rovers and Cayennes !!!!!!
You'd probably need the Megacruiser in that scenario

I always fancied a full fat Toyota Landcruiser Amazon ..... but lack of a footballers salary and a free fuel card i had to settle for ( By comparison ) a cheap 3.0 24v LWB Shogun .... had it for years ... still fancy the Landcruiser though. I am much older now, more sensible ( Ish ) , so the Honda CR-V does me well enough

My daughter is Business Manager at the local Toyota dealership, I must admit when she sent me the link to the announcement the other day first thing I asked was when and how much.

They do look the dogs!

Back in the early 90's did my school run in a long wheel base G Wagen, managed to get 10 kids in the thing, my 2 plus all their friends

Same here. The kids hated me turning up in such an old piece of junk and called it the tank!👍🏻👍🏻

I had my Amazon when I worked in Henley-on-Thames, which was full of them. Steel winch bumpers won every time 😆

Couldn’t stretch to the cost of an Amazon when I was in North Africa

We live in a cul-de-sac with a primary school and pre-school at the entrance, drop-off time is not too bad as they arrive 1 at a time, but pick-up time is another matter, we try hard not to leave or arrive back between 2.30 and 3.30pm, I've had people parked across our main front driveway, and the back driveway to my garage - as well as one clown who reversed his minibus almost to the front of my garage!, have tried remonstrating with culprits and received abuse (in hearing of little ones coming out of school) that would make a fisherwoman blush. Main problem is that our village does not have enough little kiddies to make the school viable so they've, as a successful school, openened their doors to others from nearby villages and Ashford - needless to say there's little or no support from local real or plastic plods, these people do not understand insonsiderate behavior etc. Part of me wishes I still had my RR with bull bar front, 2" steel tube side steps and fixed tow hitch - even London taxi drivers thought twice over arguing with me!
