Google Desktop Search

Anyone tried it yet... I'ts bloody brilliant.. It indexes your PC so you can google search it for files and emails in nano seconds ;D

In Google, go to more.... Google labs and install it from there.

Loving it already. Had some initial issues with getting the thing to index, but it was fine after a reboot.

Very effective. Haven't looked into the security aspect of it so far. The fact that it wants to listen on an IP port isn't encouraging.

Wouldn't use it on a shared PC and make sure you turn of the option to index https pages otherwise your paypal receipt pages and all sorts will be available for all to see!
