I must say i'm kinda new to the Merc scene. I did enjoy the R129 SL500 I bought one summer for some fun but nothing since. Mainly been Audi's and BMs although predominantly in the Audi RS6 stable.

I've just bought a fully loaded AMG breathed ML270CDi. Nice wagon although handles and manouveres like a boat

I actually enjoy hustling our ML - much more fun than in my C - I particularly enjoy winding up the pace on a twisty B road until Mrs D comments. I can get up quite a rhythm before she notices, which is incredible for an old school ladder frame SUV with a engine that fills up at the black pump!!
