There’s a documentary called Yorkshire airport on ITV at the moment. Might be of interest if you use Leeds Bradford airport.

Usually some scary crosswinds there.

I first went here (to eat, an airport in Yorkshire was a novelty then) when it went commercial in 1968 ('69?) and was still called Yeadon.

Although we return to Yorkshire regularly, East Midlands is a much better airport .... albeit far busier each year, it seems.

Rather not. Flew back to there not long ago. Even the natives we were travelling with pronounced it to be an”effin' shambles” o_O
