Head unit help

Hello everyone need your help please

I have a facelift 2006 CLK 320 cdi with the satnav head unit,
is this also a dvd player?

if it is, will it only play a dvd if you put a disc in the front slot (like in the picture)
Or can you load dvd's in the cd disk changer in the glove box and play them from there?
Also does anyone know what movie file types the head unit plays? like mp4, mpeg, avi, mov? etc

last thing, what is the name of the head unit?
I often see people saying command unit, which ones mine?

I think it's NTG1 unit....
and the cd changer in the glove box should be only for CD

If I'm wrong please correct me.
