I polished my dull W210 plastic headlights today.
I did it by hand but will do it again with a machine and I'll be a bit more aggressive with the wet and dry paper next time but so far they look a lot better :).

Used Xerapol plastic Polish. recomended by other forum members.

Can you tell us what exactly you used on the lights as in grade of paper etc and what steps did you take apart from the obvious bit of elbow grease?

Good job.

The paper came with the polish, I think it's 1200 grade, I remember some one on here saying so.
So I just rubbed the light with the paper whilst spraying with water, a minute or 2.
Then rubbed away with the polish, I applied it with a small piece or sponge, hard work by hand, machine next time, I got fed up after about 5-10 mins by hand :p.

Thanks for the info, def a cheaper option than buying new lenses..!!!

Hmm yes £80ish each!
I did mine as they looked scratched, they don't appear to be yellowing.
