Hi guys after dynoing my car the other day the car seemed to get hot very quick and pull timing. Found a few no it issues to fix. Parts on the way from Germany [emoji108][emoji108]

I thought I'd check out the heat exchanger pump. I have a larger heat exchanger up front but my pump appears to be a stock Bosch one? Will this be a likely cause to my issue. Felt like the super charger was none existant until the car cooled down. Pics bellow. Sorry for poor quality

They do tend to do that quite easily, particularly on a dyno where cooling is less than optimum. Which larger H/E do you have out of interest? So far as the pump is concerned I cant read the part number stamped on it. If it ends in 10 then its the latest Bosch pump which has greater flow rates. The pump itself looks cleanish so I doubt its the original, and I would be surprised if the pump wasn't replaced when a larger H/E was added. Is the s/c pulley standard size?
That said the pumps do become less efficient over time (old or new versions) and eventually fail, so it is still the most likely cause of your problem
There is a supercharger cooling thread on here I think from poster "ginger55" ita a really good read if you are interested. I will try and find it.

55k cooling upgrade is the title but I am too stupid to work out how to create a link. if you search by title and Ginger55 it should come up. Or someone else will post the link

I couldn't get to the part number but I believe it is a 010 pump as that's what I was told it was. I'm it sure who exchanger is on it buy it is big. I'm assuming it's a euro charged one as it has a eurocharged exhaust system. I also have a 84mm pulley so id have thought that wouldn't be a issue with the cooling mods.
I may just order a Johnson pump anyway. And thanks I'll look up the other post

the 010 pump is the revised one, common issue on the 55`s.

I had a Johnson's cm30 on My 55k along with a Fabtech Cooler never had any loss of boost. But then again i didn't drive it really hard.

Yes Simon, the Bosch 010 is the one to get. I found the best price for one is from here
BOSCH Auxiliary water pump | cartech-one
I believe that is what's on it mate. Also while you're here what this about in the pic? Does it every now and then. Car had a new alternator and aux battery it's at a constant 13v

Once I've replaced the Y pipe and breather hose I'll try and dyno it again and see what happens. You guys dyno them in manual in 4th?

is it a AGM battery?? these car's are very Voltage sensitive

Dyno mode and 4th i believe, never got around to putting Brutus on the dyno

I've not seen that message before, only the Convenience functions switched off for a few hundred yards with a low charged battery.
I don't have an AGM battery either, just a Bosch S5.

I didn't check the main battery so it may be that. That'll be another couple hundred even with discount from ecp haha

I believe it is a 4th gear pull on the dyno.
Here's mine at MSL (at 7min 02 sec) a few years back . Quite happy for a totally stock engine.
