Hi

Has anyone any experience of the heater booster system? Ive just purchased a w202 diesel and am waiting for the handbook to be posted on. Would appreciate any guidance to its use and when and how to use it.

Same here, even have the handbook but it don't explain it in great detail, even asked one of the Techs at the dealers and he wern't really sure, so what is the answer anyone please.

Mercedes got back to me and advised to leave it permanently on, it 'll only come on when the temperature drops.As for any loss of fuel, it uses the waste fuel so will not effect your consumption.

Eh..What waste fuel??

Of course it wil affect consumption when it's running as it burns fuel. Your car recycles fuel back to the tank all the time but it still uses it later.

It only uses 0.5L of fuel per hour. I don't think this is gonna affect your mpg massively...
