Back on here after a few years away with an Audi RS6 C5 Avant.
Now back in Mercedes with a 2003 E55 AMG saloon, another itch scratched for me after 7 years in the Audi. I also have a 2002 C32 AMG estate that's more of a running project.

Well, my RS6 had Milltek downpipes, full non res Milltek exhaust, uprated Intercoolers and en engine and gearbox map to suit........And yet my E55 feels just as fast when i get grip A totally different drive though, it's so comfortable and a nicer place to be in, always loved the Mercedes interior and it holds up a lot better than the Audi. A few wee niggles that i'll sort out in time and i'll just enjoy driving her over the summer then look at getting some work down September time.

My RS6 sounded great all the time, the AMG is standard barring some sort of back boxes but she still sounds great and the noise if so addictive in town with the windows down, the AMG sound is unbeatable when you give it some welly though

I recommend a secondary cat delete and x-pipe on the AMG.
If you can get hold of a set, some C63 back boxes too.

I'll look into it. Got her booked into a local garage to get her lowered on Star then some spacers on to have her sitting nice. Then i've the Johnsons ic pump and a stage 1 engine and TCU map getting done. Loving her so far, basically two cars in one
