Well, I finally went and did it... bought my first Mercedes (2012 C180 Sport), and so far the ride has been pretty sweet.

Is it a 4gb or 8gb version, the latter being the later model. The former was £300 new from authorised supplier.

I'm not completely sure to be honest... It's a late 2014 model, so believe it'd be an 8GB, but will check.

Welcome to the forum. To be honest, I don't find Map Pilot to be a particularly impressive satnav, although I do use it. There are better stand-alone units with more features and free updates out there for considerably less money. For me, Map Pilot's only real advantage is its integration.
