Hello to everyone,

i have just joined this forum today,

i hope to get to know everyone one here,

i have had my car since september and already have had murders with it!!
Well, not so much with the car, the car has been ok really, just with being hit by an uninsured driver and the police doing sweet fa about it!

The car i have got is a W202 C250 Td Sport Saloon, any pointers anyone can give me for these cars would be much apprieciated, like things to look out for and stuff.

Things to look out for - wheel arch rust, keep the wiper lubricated (search forum for a how to), air-con condensor rotting.

Thanks Steve, I have already had to do that to the wiper!! :S
i refused to spend over 600 quid for a motor and linkage, so i made the old one work again!!! **touch wood** its been ok since...
As for the rust, theres tiny bits on a couple of arches, slight bubbles around the boot lock and i think thats it, i havent even looked at the air con yet! where does the condenser rot? is it visable?

Behind the electric fan hubs (if you have them) so nothing to see really.

Welcome, this is a great forum. I'm pretty new too, but the site has proved invaluable to me especially when I go into my dealership with a lot more info than I used to have. It's a big help when you understand half of the things the dealership are trying to explain to you
