Hello MB Club Forum.

Ive recently joined after some forum lurking as a guest, and specifically after seeing a tidy C32 in the classifieds for the last few months (Bobby Dazzler's car).

Have been toying with the idea of one for a while, and realise that this is the best place to learn about MB, and possibly acquire a properly looked after car.

So, 29 more posts to go - perhaps i'll be joining the ranks of MB owners soon!

Well, now an owner of my first MB.

Many thanks to Rob (AKA Bobby Dazzler) for his well looked after C32.

So, First week of ownership & not much has happened, other than the daily grind of commuting to work. Ive given it a clean and a wax to keep the dreaded tin worm at bay (not that there is any to be seen) as much as possible.

Tomorrow its booked into Avantgarde Clevedon for a quick mechanical once over, to make sure there is nothing untoward anywhere, prior to a circa 500m round trip up to Cheshire next week.

No plans for tuning of any kind, however I'll probably look into changing the serpentine belt and updated MB idle pulley & changing the rear diff fluid in the not too distant future.

Only other thing of note is a CD getting stuck on the changer in the glove box. Following the guides available I managed to take the changer apart and fix it fairly easily. In my elation, whilst putting it back together i nicked the ribbon cable, which means no audio until I either replace the changer or fiddle around with a new ribbon cable. Hopefully I can acquire the necessary parts prior to next weeks long drive.

Although the changer is annoying, its more annoying that its my clumsiness exacerbating the issue than anything else. Still, now technically aquainted with the workings of the M3010 cd changer...
