cheers!

Try using some small pliers if you cant undo them by hand. Cover the cap with something to stop it getting scratched.

I`ve had them before and is a pain to get them out. You`ll need two pliers, one to hold the back and the other to unscrew.Get a piece of cloth to save scratching

As above exactly the same valves as mine and they do seize in cold weather, two sets of pliers and two cloths job done.

spanners! pah...you guys are amateurs... a nice socket set is what you need here.

once off, make sure to put a little bit of grease on them before screwing back on.
Metal and aluminium types do like to stay put especially after digesting lots of salt off these winter roads (not like there is much about nowadays with the council's using the money for other things but thats another story!).

Thanks all.
Used two pairs of "persuaders" and got three out of four off.
The last one was a socket, extension bar, ratchet, and a persuader.

For those saddo's like me, it was an 11mm socket !

Vaselined up ready for tomorrow!

Now that you're loosened them some B*stard will pinch them

I keep my metal valve caps just nipped up with pliers , stops the scrotes stealing them.

Don't forget to keep some pliers in the car for when you want to get them off.

The M-B aluminium ones have a plastic insert for the thread, to stop them seizing.

Should be 10mm not 11mm:)
