Hello chaps and chapesses, could you please look at the attached photo (fingers crossed..) and identify the part, its adjacent to the injectors on my ML 270cdi, it has a fuel line connected and a recent smell of fuel in the cabin has led me to removing the engine coverings to find fuel dripping from it the white bit ! Help, what and why ? many thanks, Mike

Sorry, guess my computer skills are matched only by my knowledge of the engine bay of my wifes' ML, the part has a single fuel line attached, is about the size of a shotgun cartridge, half black half white, the white part is the diameter of a pen with a 'thin flange' on the end and has a hole down the centre, through which fuel is dripping whilst the engine is running - its a cracking photo too !
