Help needed cps replacement 01 c320

Any tips how to gain access to the cps on a 2001 c320?

Ive had a look underneath and from the top and cant even see the thing, i can just see the plug that goes into the cps but its shrouded in other looms.

Ive had my arm up from underneath and can just touch the plug but cant even feel the torx bolt that holds the sensor in.

Looks easy on my 113.

Ps its the wifes car so is of utmost importance!, now of to post same on the other forum.

Lots of struggling and a couple of helpful posts from Sam on the other forum and i actually got to see the bloody thing, cant get it off though as my home tools arent good enough, so thats tomorrows job.

you need a couple 1/4 inch wobble bars and a small ratchet. Not easy to do but so satisfying when its completed.

Thanks for that Ian i bought the 1/4 wobbles home today and managed to get old one out, stuck bolt to new cps with superglue then refitted both and it now runs a treat, obviously true test is when properly hot but couldnt be bothered as i wanted a shower.
