Help please beeping driving me beeping mad

Please help, I picked up a x reg vito 110cdi thursday. On the way back I made the mistake of playing with the switches. I pressed the central locking one, now every time I open the doors the van beeps at me. Only the front doors and it doesn't happen when the ignition is on. It's driving me mad it wasn't doing it before I fiddled.

If I don’t remove the front of my radio when I open the drivers door (key out of ignition)the car will beep 3 times, apparently a reminder to remove the radio front… could this be the reason in your case?

Thank you Dec but no. No fancy face off stereos in a van It seems to have sorted
It self out, I think one of the doors was out on sinc. But thank you for your help

Having said that.... my 2000 was resprayed not long ( i think ) before it got it approx 3-4 yrs ago. Now the rust seems to be popping up all over the place. I can understand the wheel arches but really odd places are just bubbling up. Tomorrow i am buying dark sunglasses. Really dark..

However regarding the post. Mine beeps when the handbrake is on when i try to drive. Mine is auto but i would think the setup i similar. Maybe check the handbrake etc ?

If ignition is 'On' started or not when i open a door the beep starts. So perhaps it thought a door was open

that's 2 that haven't rusted away then I think the doors where out of sinc or a dirty contact. The important thing is that the beeping has stopped. I get the handbrake beep, lights left on beep etc. oh and mine is also an auto.
