Ha I cant wait either! I started on it but ive got a customers mk1 golf in my garage which needs to be sorted and the poor merc's been off the road for a couple of months at least waiting for something to happen . Im trying my hardest to get it done within the next month so I can crack on with the merc.

You see so many modified e30's, yet no 190's. Puzzling dont you think? I get nothing but compliments about the car - and thats just bog standard! Cant wait til its actually done!

Ive had it just over a year now and so far ive replaced the rear subframe bushes, lowered it with cut h&r springs and gaz shocks, and changed the front lower arms and ball joints, and a few other small jobs. Everythings covered in 20 odd years worth of rust and the lower arms had to be cut out as the bolts were siezed!

Future plans are to do the engine swap, replace all the rear links and nuts and bolts, get the wheels on and get it sitting right, sort out a decent alarm, door builds and a touch screen computer to replace the stereo, and then add some more power! A respray might be in there somewhere as well lol.
