Really enjoying the forum and browsing through different threads. Seems a really good bunch of people here

Sadly, this isn't my first post as I've got off to a really dumb start:

. . . but hopefully if I get through this unscathed my MB ownership will be a good 'un. Having seen what some of the other members drive I'm already planning what my next car will be. Loving this car so far though.

Hi. I've got the estate - 54 plate facelift model, 85k.

A little clattery when cold and under 1500 revs or so hot or cold. Pulls very well with smooth gear changes but holds onto high revs a little in the lower gears if not pushed hard. Performance seems much better than the "official" figures to me. No rocket ship but no slouch either.

Big fat wheels (245/225) so steering a little heavy but road holding is very good.

I've not had another car like it to compare but at the moment all seems good.
