- W140 S320L, 1997, Black with Black Bird's Eye Maple trim
Proud W124 owner here, finally deciding to ask for help after lurking for a year, and it's great to be here!
I've got the E220 Coupe, facelift version, lovely azurite blue, rust like I've never seen before and a bit raspy but an amazing car, cream leather and seatbelt butlers and good A/C, what more could I want?
I've had in the past:
1994 W202 C200, felt very flimsy and underpowered and as usual for these the ECU went throwing the engine into chaos somehow (ran on 1 cylinder when the buyer came to pick it up)
1994 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Limited, well maybe this was structurally the rustiest, one of the steps fell off while I was driving, that's when I took it to be welded! The engine couldn't do above 2000rpm or 50mph as it just misfired and stalled. Apparently this too was an ECU-related problem (I didn't know a car seemingly that basic would be that reliant on one!). It had a cream leather interior with a "bench" seat at the back that folded onto itself for extra room. It was black, had a soft top and was raised.
1987 W126 560SEC, grey, aside from the blowing exhaust it never had any faults! Two-tone grey, an amazing car.
Also in the family in the past:
3 Ferraris (the good old 70s!)
Rolls Royce Silver Phantom
Mercedes Pagods
Panther de Ville
Mercedes 6.2
Mercedes 600SEL (or SEC? I forget)
Mercedes 560SEC (or SEL?)
