All, for info:

Alongside the replacement masts, Hirschmann provide repair kits for the common aerials that consist of all the wearing parts of the mechanism/gear wheels/clutch (this includes the two plastic wheels prone to "losing" their clutch tabs resulting in the mast staying either up or down....!).

As an example, the 6000KE used on the W124 is part number 496 750-400 and costs £18-20 inc VAT.

The website Hirschmann Car Communication Ersatzteilshop*-*Home can be used to look up the parts but NOT to order for UK delivery. UK delivery is via the distributor SIGNO (in Bedfordshire) on 01234-843509.

He had half a dozen a few weeks ago.......in a big box plus fitting kits......some Bosch, (the same), some Hirschman

........Nick is a bit elusive, (busy), you need to try to call him if you want something......I am waiting for a few "bits and pieces"

I had the usual little lump broken off the cog - a pain with zero radio reception so I just bought the kit.
