Hey, it's designo diamond white, with Pan roof and matt black cross spoke forged AMG wheels.
I went with ceramic brakes, carbon fibre interior pack. Black/Red Napa leather.
One of many opions are the Premuim pack and AMG Dynamic plus pack.

Hopefully this one will be with me for a long time.

Sounds nice. The SL will be three years old this year so will be going.I spec'd one exactly the same but Matt grey. Great reports but I really would like a go before I hand over my deposit.

Whats your estimated delivery date? I believe we're into 2016 deliveries for orders placed now - my order went in at the end of October and my car arrives early August (which means 1st Sept because who takes delivery in August )

Blimey, that's a hell of a wait Are you saying they've now sold out for all 2016?

I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to put my order in - I was actually expecting May delivery when I placed the order but, when my dealer put it through to Merc, it seems I was further down the list than they expected.

Anyway, I've gone for the following:

- Hyacinth Red
- Nappa 'STYLE' Saddle Brown interior
- Black Diamond trim
- Premium Pack
- Ceramic Brakes
- Driving Assistant Package
- Night Package
- Dynamic Plus Package
- Burmester High End Sound System

Looks a good spec.

I was tempted to Oder but I have never bought a car without a test drive. Popped in to the dealer last Friday and spoke to the principal he seem to think March 2016. He also said that he could get one for me to test drive for a couple of days hopefully at the end of May. If I like it I may have a long wait it seems.

I'm sure you can place a deposit to get in the queue - as I understand it, if you don't like it after test drive then the dealer can refund this up to the point when they have to commit the car to build. If you wait until May I suspect it'll be late 2016 before you'd get one....this is assuming all the hype about waiting times is true (although whilst I'm usually sceptical, I think on this occasion it might well be).

Palmball - I know I've got a long frustrating wait but at least I have the Rari till July.

MB are expecting it to arrive before March hopefully but i'm not betting on that.

I'm told they are sold out for 2015 but as you say i'm sure you can get on the long waiting list...

You've got very similar spec to mine apart from colour and trim
