Tyler Hoover gets his ancient Maybach repaired under warranty and gets to drive a 2023 version. 'Bounce' tech to get the thing out of a hole must surely be aimed at potential owners who might get themselves stuck on sand dunes. ?

Agreed . Horrible things , at a guess these were always marketed at a specific market a looong way East from Germany.

Originally they were aiming to sell half of all Maybach production in the USA....so not just East!!...that plan failed....but as of last year (quoted from Mercedes) Mercedes-Maybach achieved its best sales year with 21,600 units (+37%) delivered to customers. This growth was mainly supported by strong performances in Japan, Korea, the Middle East and especially China where Mercedes-Maybach delivered more than 1,100 units per month.

1100 per month in China!!!

Thats how Hoovies garage 'the dumbest channel on all of YouTube' started . He would buy the car no one else with his lack of mechanical skills would even dream of buying and go from there..

His content is way different now.

PS , He had a fair bit of 'spare change' in his pocket before he even started his channel.

Ahhhhh, I hadn’t realised that, but that makes sense. I had noticed that he had moved out of his house as well as sell lots of cars, and last week I noticed that the release of content had really slowed down too.

All makes sense now. I don’t really watch his content as a general rule, apart from his MB stuff.
