I've just had the twin air con fans from the 300E fitted to my 300D to use as auxilliary fans when towing, but to do this I had to remove the horn bar as it would not fit because of the fan motor that is now in the way, does anyone know if the bar from the 300E will fit? it has to have more of a bend to go between the fan motors. I don't like going on the motorway without the bar on as the bonnet seem's to move more now. any ideas?
