<div class="bbWrapper">I have a Hotmail account. Is it possible to set up a <i>read reciept</i> like I can with Outlook Express? Thanks in advance.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I'm not sure if this answers your question, but I have set up Outlook Express to operate my Hotmail account. I don't use read receipts but I would imagine you could use the facility as normal via Hotmail.<br /> <br /> Forgive me if this confuses more than helps. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f644.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Roll Eyes " data-smilie="11"data-shortname="" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Short answer is.... No! <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f641.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":(" title="Frown :(" data-smilie="3"data-shortname=":(" /> Sorry</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">You can't do it directly but there are a number of third party email servers who will track emails for you (the one that immediately comes to mind is didtheyreadit.com) they provide a plug-in for your browser and your outgoing mail can be routed via their servers. All of these services charge but also most of them allow a few emails for free every month so you could get maybe 10 free receipted emails a month through them.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Thank you guys-My question has been answered.<img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big Grin :D" data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" /></div>
