Hi all I snapped a heater plug head off so I am one down. How could I get the light to stay off when the engine starts?

Replace the snapped glow plug by drilling it out

Tried that just want to get the light out for now till I can take it to engineers

Take the bulb out of the cluster. That is the only way I can think off until you get it fixed properly.

really? you cannot live with the light being on for a just a little while until it is properly fixed?? it will do no harm being on you know...

forgive my cynicism, but do you perhaps want to sell it, and need the light to go out for this reason? if so, why not just bolt your spare glow plug on some where under the manifold and connect the plug.

Here's another one, all engineers will nod at this one.

"The difference between theory and practice, is greater in practice than in theory."
