How does this undo?

Hi all, trying to get the front seats out of C43 - W202. Just this tube to undo. I can see how its held in - by the four 'claws' of the female part, but other than trying to pry them open all at the same time - risk of breaking one - and then pull the male end out with a fifth hand, I'm at a loss. Is there a special tool for this or a clever technique?

If I'm right, don't you just press the back bit in the middle?

Looks like this when it’s opened.
Wiggle them apart if you have a very strong grip or you can try to spread open the 4 segments on the White (or in your case Grey) part.

As Dec has said, they just pull apart.
