I have seen in the "How to" Section, How to remove a 202 Wing, Is there a similar section on how to remove a 2002 W210 e320cdi Avantgarde Front Wing or is the procedure basically the same as the 202. ?
Also is it worth replacing with a Fibreglass or Aluminium Wing in preference to the Steel Wing for obvious rust reasons, If this is the case, does any Member know where these can be bought from.
All replies gratefully appreciated.
Many thanks

I will be doing mine hopefully in the near future, one is quite bad. I believe ECP do a galvanized one (Naraic has them on his) and I'm sure they are bolt on/off.

I'll have a look on WIS at some point

You have to first remove the bumper. There are write ups on here if you search. Then it's a matter of pulling the skirt trim away to reveal the bottom bolts.
I've had the bumper off mine and it's an easy job if you don't snap too many of the bolts.
The sliding retaining clips can be stiff too.
Can't say too much about the skirt trim yet but I will get round to doing mine soon.
They say it's best to replace metal with metal as a rust repair won't last.
On saying that I've got 2 part rusty wings to do up and put on mine only because I'm mindful of the difficulty in matching the paint.
Oh I also have to change my bumper too
So I'm going to be busy when I get chance

Good luck

I did have an estimate from a body repair guy who gave me a price to remove the rust, fill & paint wing for about £ 200.00, but said the rust would probably come back again so recommended a new wing, I think they are about £ 100.00 to £ 150.00 to buy and then have it sprayed to match original paintwork, don't know how much this would cost, but guess another £ 100.00, so about £ 250.00 all together.
unless SOMEONE KNOWS A BETTER PRICE.

Mine are not too bad at the moment but can see the beginning of the dreaded small rust spots appearing over the wheel arches, so would appreciate you letting me know how you get on when you change yours.
Many thanks

I'll probably be changing mine , took one off last year to refurb and ended up wishing i had just replaced it ECP are quite cheap and believe the fit is OK There are also some on Ebay Plenty of protection on the inside is key to longevity ie good thick primer some kind of topcoat and plenty of schutz & Waxoyl or the equivalent after all what condition will a 210 be in in say another 3-4yrs time horses for courses and the inside of the wing does not need doing by a pro
