How to use Mobilo Life?

From my thread on here (trying to find a Star garage) it's clear that I cannot find a garage with a Star machine ina convenient location.

As the car is running really badly and stalling, I thought about calling out Mobilo life for my girlfriend. Thing is i've no idea how you use it?

Her service is due now (or within 5 miles), will that cause a problem? Other than that it's a full MB history except for one service some 2 years back that was overdue.

If my understanding is correct, Mobilolife in this context is about recovery or roadside repair in the event of a problem, rather than an alternative to calling into the dealer.

So if it's safe for you to drive to the dealer then you should. If it's not then Mobilolife may be more appropriate.

I believe the service is dependent upon services being carried out within specified limits. If you continue using the car then you may exceed those limits. Of course if you continue using it then it would imply that you could drive it to the dealer.
