HOWTO: Outside temp dislay

I've been thinking of adding one of these to my w202. Many many thanks for the how to, much appreciated.

sorry - forgot to add feedback. Got it all fitted but it didnt work! Turned out everything was ok but the main dealer needed to 'switch it on' using I think a hand held device.

Did that and it works perfectly - thanks everyone

hi. i am in turkey. i have a 1994 c220 diesel and it hasn't got a outside temp indicator on instrument cluster.


my instrument cluster is diffirent of yours.i think my cluster is old style.
has anyone got a cable and pin schematic for my instrument cluster.

which pin am i use for outside temp indicator. are they same?

Yes, you have to cut the old plug off and solder new pins on and put it in a new plug to go in the back of the instrument cluster.
